	Synopsis
	Set in Japan in the 1870's, this samurai story centers around a Civil War vet (Tom Cruise) who attempts to help the emperor's troops during a time of conflict on the islands. But, after he is captured by the swordsmen, he grows to understand and appreciate the intricate code of honor in which they live.
