| Synopsis |
| This film is based on Wladyslaw Szpilman's autobiography "Pianist", published in 1946. Adrien Brody plays Szpilman in the film adaptation about a World War 2-era Polish pianist who escaped from Nazi concentration camps, and thanks to music, lived to tell about it. This film won multiple Oscars, including Best Director (Polanski), and Best Actor (Brody).
