	Synopsis
	Michael Caine stars as a British journalist and opium addict who has spent 20 years in French Indochina and has an increasing resentment of American colonialism in the nation, partly because of his rivalry with a young CIA operative (Brendan Fraser) over a beautiful Vietnamese woman. This film is based on the Graham Greene novel.
